Policies & Terms

Welcome to Locs by Lyric / 10K Loc Academy. These policies apply to all services, products, workshops, and events. By booking, purchasing, or attending, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

1. General Policies

  • All bookings, purchases, and registrations are non-transferable.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking/purchase to secure your appointment, product order, or event seat.

  • Prices and policies are subject to change without notice.

2. Salon Services

  • Deposits & Payments: Deposits secure your appointment and are strictly nonrefundable. Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

  • Cancellations:

    • 7+ days before: Deposit forfeited; balance may be refunded.

    • 7–2 days before: Deposit forfeited; 50% of balance retained.

    • Less than 48 hours / no-show: Full amount forfeited.

  • Rescheduling: May be accommodated with 7+ days’ notice, based on availability. Additional fees may apply if inside 7 days.

  • Client Responsibility: Clients are expected to follow recommended maintenance schedules. Extended lapses in professional maintenance may result in additional fees.

3. Education & Academy Trainings

  • Deposits & Final Payments: Nonrefundable. Final payments confirm your spot and cover preparation costs (venue, travel, materials).

  • Cancellations:

    • 7+ days before: Deposit forfeited; balance may be refunded.

    • 7–2 days before: Deposit forfeited; 50% of balance retained.

    • Less than 48 hours: All fees forfeited.

  • Rescheduling: Allowed only with written approval. Credits may be applied toward a future course at Lyric’s discretion.

  • Consultations: A consultation does not guarantee acceptance into any program or training; it is an interview and informational session.

4. Products & Merchandise

  • All product sales are final.

  • No refunds or exchanges will be granted once an order has been shipped or collected.

  • In cases of product defect or shipping error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for resolution.

5. Events & Workshops

  • Tickets are nonrefundable.

  • In the event of cancellation by the organizer, attendees will receive either a refund or credit toward a future event.

  • If you are unable to attend, credits may be considered at Lyric’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

6. Liability & Professional Standards

  • Locs by Lyric reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion if conduct, health, or safety concerns arise.

  • By participating in services, classes, or events, you agree to release Locs by Lyric and affiliates from liability related to personal injury, loss, or damages.

7. Disputes & Chargebacks

  • Filing a chargeback without first contacting our office to resolve the matter will result in permanent denial of future services or enrollment.

  • Written agreements, payment confirmations, and these policies serve as evidence of the agreed terms.
