What is VIP Crown Access?
VIP Crown Access is a premium booking tier for clients who consistently show up, care for their crown, and align with Lyric’s standard of intentional hair health. It offers early access to bookings, exclusive bundles, luxury salon upgrades, and priority scheduling.
What are the benefits of joining?
Early access to booking every month (opens the 20th for VIPs)
Sacred Sunday appointments at a preferred premium rate
Exclusive service bundles and discounted Thrive Kit ($25 value, reg. $35)
Luxury amenities during your service (champagne, hot towel, facial/eye mask)
Loyalty rewards, including 20% off every 6th visit (tracked by client with VIP card)
Priority invites and discounts to workshops and Locs Meet West events
How do I apply for VIP Crown Access?

Once reviewed, you’ll receive an official approval email if accepted. Access is not guaranteed and is based on alignment with Lyric’s rhythm and values.
Who is eligible for VIP Crown Access?
Clients who show consistency, communicate respectfully, and align with Lyric’s recommended maintenance schedule may be considered. This program is a privilege for those who value their crown care journey and the elevated experience Lyric provides.
What happens if I’m not approved?
If your application is not approved, you may still book through the general calendar and receive exceptional care. However, VIP-exclusive bundles, Sunday appointments, and perks are reserved for approved clients only. You may reapply in the future if your booking rhythm and alignment improve.
What if I already have a VIP Loyalty Card but haven’t applied
Clients currently holding a VIP loyalty card will be able to complete their current card and redeem the reward, but will not be issued a new one unless they are approved through the application process.
How is VIP activity tracked?
Visit history is tracked through Lyric’s booking system, but VIP Loyalty Card redemptions are client-tracked and must be presented in person to redeem your 6th visit reward. Lost or incomplete cards cannot be replaced.
What are the expectations to stay in VIP Crown Access?
To remain an active VIP, clients must stay in rhythm with Lyric’s professional recommendations for service frequency:
Traditional Retwist Clients: Minimum of 4 visits per year (recommended every 4–6 weeks)
Interlock Clients: Minimum of 3 visits per year (recommended every 6–8 weeks)
Crochet Maintenance Clients: Minimum of 2 visits per year (recommended every 3–4 months)
To maintain your VIP status, we also ask that you:
Provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations
Arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment
Communicate respectfully and consistently
Follow Lyric’s at-home care and product recommendations to protect your results
Failure to meet these expectations may result in VIP access being paused or revoked to ensure availability for aligned clients.
What if I don’t see a time I need on the calendar?
VIPs may request Sacred Sunday sessions or submit a request via the waitlist form:
You’ll be prioritized over general clients for last-minute openings or accommodations.
Can I still refer friends or leave reviews?
Yes! Referrals and Google/Yelp reviews are always appreciated. VIP clients who refer others or leave reviews may be eligible for thank-you credits or exclusive perks at Lyric’s discretion.

For any questions related to your appointment or VIP Crown Access, please text the Client Support Team at 424-290-1542. We recommend saving the number in your phone as “Locs by Lyric – Client Support” so you never miss important updates.
Lyric has intentionally built this team to make sure you receive timely, informed support, even when she’s with a client or—believe it or not—on a day off. Yes, she actually has off days. Rare, sacred moments when she’s not holding a crochet hook or bottle of rosewater and instead is trying to remember what quiet feels like.
If your concern requires her direct attention, it will be shared with her right away. All responses from the support team reflect Lyric’s direction, care, and standards.
