Lyric is an industry expert with over a decade of experience in loc maintenance, styling, and education. Her journey began in 2014 in Oakland, California, where she self-maintained her locs and developed advanced detoxing and interlocking techniques. Over the years, she apprenticed under The Loc Doc in Los Angeles, trained with elite professionals such as Kris McDred, LocMamas, and Mended Locs, and honed her skills through thousands of hours of hands-on experience.

Now, operating her third successful salon in Torrance, California, Lyric is passionate about educating the next generation of loctitians. With her expertise, you will gain technical skills, business strategies, and cultural knowledge that traditional cosmetology schools do not offer.
